This
is the sacred place of God, call it an Ashram. Call it a Mandir,
Call it a Gurdwara, call it whatever you like. But it is the
Holy Place of Lord of all, by whatever name called. Defile
it not with bigotry, communalism, politics, provincialism,
linguism and above all superstitions. Enter its portals with
faith. Tread its ground with respect. Live in it with purity.
And sit to pray in humanity. Do not pray here for what is
wordly. Pray here for light, Pray here for Holy Dust, Pray
here for 'NAM' - the Love worship of the Lord Divine.
This
Holy Place aims at combining the Ashram concepts of the old
with those of the new. While retaining the importance of the
quite surroundings, beauty of nature, non-family life, diciplined
conduct, simple living and individual Abhyas, it is
aimed to be an all pulsating active cell of Divine Service
generating and then radiating worldwide, the rays of Nam
that shall resurrect back to life and glory, the devasted
homes which are now the cremation grounds.
This
Holy Place is for no particular sect, community or religion
so called. It is for all people who would not like to see
differences between man and man, between saint and saint and
between God and God.
This
Holy Place runs under the auspices of the Nirguna Balik satsang
Mandal ( India ). a spiritual, culture and charitable registered
society in whom vest all its property and management. It is
meant to be mandal's central place of worship for the states
of Himachal Pradesh, the Punjab and Haryana, in its network
of the spiritual and cultural centres that are, and that are
to be, in India and abroad. It is also meant to be the last
home on this Earth for those true and sincere aspirants whose
mission in life is to be humble servants of Nam.

Ashram
is beautiful. Look in any direction, you find nature, swinging
in a sweet green cradle. The high towering mountains, the
low steppy valleys, are all dressed in green even in May and
June. The monsoons add considerably to the charm, when you
find green velvety carpet, spread over the entire undulating
area. The tall "cheel" trees right upto the peaks, and the
green vegetation down to the valleys, render the place so
bewitching that one would like to sit for hours together,
looking and looking. And as one looks at the ryhthmic swinging
of the tops of the trees, the bushes and the grass, and hears
the gentle sound of the swinging leaves, and the distant water
fountain, inter-spaced with the musical voice of the peasants
here and there, one feels drawn to something supernatural.
Added to it, is the cool bracing breeze, wating through the
trees, day and night. All the persons who have visited this
Ashram, have expressed that, right upto Simla, there is no
site so quite and charming as this one.
